Description
The blade is pressed from 2 mm stainless, polished so clay slides off, with a folded tread across the top so you can drive it with a boot. The socket runs 8 inches up a solid ash shaft and is riveted, not glued.
44 inches overall, 4.4 lb. Blade 11.5 by 7.5 inches, a true digging size. Steam-bent ash YD handle. Knock the soil off and hang it; stainless needs no oil, the ash likes a wipe of linseed each winter. Made in Sheffield, England.
